We carry Portage and Main Stoves, developed in Canada where the winters are COLD. Snow on the roof of stove does not even melt!
These stoves are more efficient and burn less wood and smoke less than other wood burning furnaces. The round boiler wrapped in coils means less chance of solder joints breaking down. The water runs from front to back and around the front again, absorbing maximum heat from coals. We recommend the closed cell insulted pipe for the underground piping because it loses only 1 degree of heat per foot.
